Continental Election Observer Mission to the Guinea Conakry June 2010 Presidential Election

EISA is deploying a Continental Election Observer Mission to the Guinea Conakry 2010 Presidential Elections on 27 June 2010. The Mission will be composed of 20 members and is expected to arrive in Conakry on 20 June where it will hold a two day election stakeholder meeting ahead of Election Day. The Mission will remain in the country until 29 June in order to observe the voting and counting processes as well as post polling activities.

The Mission's observations will be based on international standards for credible elections, including the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and the African Union Declaration on Principles Governing Democratic Elections.
