Courtesy visit to the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation

In pursuance of its commitment to supporting the democracy building process in Africa, EISA opened an office in the Republic of Mali on 15th May 2013 and on 21 August paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation. The Office was staffed by a Country Representative and two local contractees. The office was closed at the end of 2015 on completion of its manadate.

Donors and funding

  1. The “Strengthening the Multi-Party Liaison Committees” project was funded through a grant received from the Swiss Federal Department for Foreign Affairs (DFAE).
  2. The project “Conflict Management Panels” was funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Projet d’Appui au Processus Electoral du Mali (PAPEM).
  3. The project “Women, your time is now” was funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Projet d’Appui au Processus Electoral du Mali (PAPEM).
