National observation

National election observation was undertaken by the Botswana Electoral Support Network (BESNet), founded by the Botswana Council of Churches (BCC), Botswana Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (BOGONGO), the Botswana Federation of Trade Unions (BFTU), Botswana National Youth Council (BNYC), Ditshwanelo, Emang Basadi, Lentswe La Basadi Ba Botswana (LLBB) and Worldview Botswana (IEC 2004, 92, 93).
